Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities

The Corporate Trust Sales Associate is an extension of the Corporate Trust National Sales officers whose primary goal is to onboard strengthen and retain key relationships in partnership with both the sales and relationship teams. This role provides sales support in a variety of ways- administrative functions customer service sales support and compliance oversight. They will also create an outstanding experience for their clients and the sales team they support by managing the workflow they are given with a strong attention to detail and proactive communication to maintain an exclusive delivery model. They may be called on to provide market supervision mentor peers and help train new associates to the team.

Duties may include:

Administration:

  • Expense Reports & Calendar Management
  • Maintain Reports/Tracking on behalf of Sales Team
  • Assist Corporate Trust Sales with managing their book of business
  • Assist with organizing of client events
  • Keep Salesforce updated as appropriate

Client Experience:

  • Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
  • Problem Solving for complex clients
  • Handle Client escalations
  • Attends industry conferences
  • Responsible for working with the IB Marketing Team to drive the creation and maintenance of all marketing collateral and reporting.
  • Assist ARM and RMs with Account maintenance

Sales Associate:

  • Strong Knowledge of all bank products and features
  • Maintaining prospect pipeline through data entry and tracking
  • Collecting documentation for KYC/CIP at the direction of the Sales Team
  • Assist ARMs and RMs with new Account opening- and all activities associated with account opening as an extension of the Corporate Trust Sales Officers

Compliance:

  • Comply with all bank policies and procedures
  • Maintain high level of confidentiality with client information

Leadership

  • Helps train/mentor new hires
  • Pilots new systems/processes and provides feedback to management
  • Provides input on policies and procedures
  • Can handle more complex transactions from their markets

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Skills

MINIMUM:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and computer applications
  • Address customer concerns and needs and handle complex customer escalations
  • Ability to work with sophisticated clients law firms and investment advisors of varied backgrounds & experiences
  • General understanding of public finance and M&A transactions
  • Must be highly motivated and able to determine priorities plan organize and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision and/or instruction
  • Proven Organizational and time management skills
  • Experience with Financial Services such as Corporate Trust & Investment management
  • Proven market leadership

Requirements

MINIMUM:

  • High School Education or equivalent
  • 5 years of corporate trust experience

PREFERRED:

  • College Degree

Work Environment

Normal office environment; minimal travel may be required

Supervision/Management: No direct management responsibilities

Compensation Range:

$62310.00 - $119200.00

The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMBs standard for this role but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location experience level and other job-related factors.
