Responsibilities:
This position requires 40 hours of clinical services weekly working in the adult Crisis Services Diagnostic Outpatient Center (CSDC). The occupational therapist (OT) role is to help patients improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily lives and working environments. The OT will treat complex upper extremity diagnoses including tendon repairs fractures wound care and custom orthosis fabrication. The OT will assist patients in developing recovering or maintaining daily living and work skills to guide patients to resume an independent and productive quality of life.
Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program along with three years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified are required. Additionally candidates must have certification and licensure in the state of Georgia as well as current CPR certification and ACLS certification.
