About the Role:The Senior Manager Global Planning is responsible for overseeing and optimizing global supply chain planning processes to ensure efficient production inventory management and distribution across multiple markets. This role involves strategic planning demand forecasting and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Demand Forecasting & Supply Planning:
  • Develop and implement global demand forecasting models using historical data and market trends.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to ensure accurate demand planning across different markets.
  • Optimize inventory levels and production schedules to meet customer demand while minimizing costs.
• Supply Chain Optimization:
  • Design and refine planning processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Identify areas for improvement in global supply chain operations and implement solutions.
  • Manage global distribution strategies to ensure timely product delivery.
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with procurement manufacturing logistics and sales teams to align planning strategies.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership regarding global supply chain performance.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between regional and global supply chain operations.
• Data Analysis & Performance Metrics:
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.
  • Use analytics to assess risks identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop reports and presentations to support decision-making.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field (Masters preferred).
• 5 years of experience in global supply chain planning or a similar role.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
• Experience with demand forecasting tools ERP systems and supply chain analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced global environment with cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge in lean principles/methodologies preferred
• Proven ability to work well in high pressure situations in order to meet deadlines and take accountability for delivering on commitments
• Advanced ability to make fact-based decisions with a sense of calculated risk-taking
• Approaches problems strategically to provide alternate course of action and offer recommendations for problem resolution
• Data-driven with demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems with strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel Word PowerPoint).
