Job Description
Collins Community Credit Union has an immediate opening for an experienced Consumer Underwriter to join our dynamic and growing financial institution. CCCU is dedicated to providing innovative and accessible financial solutions to members and the communities we serve!

The Consumer Underwriter is responsible for reviewing consumer loan and home equity loan applications for approvals and denials. The Consumer Underwriter assess applicant income credit worthiness and valuations for loan products and making informed decisions ensuring adherence to company policies lending guidelines and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of credit analysis risk mitigation and a commitment to delivering exceptional member service. The Consumer Underwriter verifies income assts and other pertinent information to ensure accuracy and completeness of applications. Underwriters are responsible for making sound lending decisions within established authority communicating clearly and effectively with internal staff regarding decisions and requirements.
