Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Banquets Manager is to lead the Banquet team in delivering exceptional guest experiences through the successful execution of meetings events and banquets. This role requires strong leadership attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring all Atrium core values standard operating procedures and brand requirements are consistently upheld by all associates.
Work Performed:
TheBanquet Managerwill be tasked with the following duties responsibilities and assignments:
Key Responsibilities:
Ability to read write and accurately interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) is essential.
Team Supervision & Development:
Supervise banquet associates by fostering a positive work environment supporting training and professional development assisting in recruiting and ensuring team members meet service and guest satisfaction standards.
Department Management:
Assist associates in understanding and adhering to employment policies support performance management efforts recommend employment actions and implement corrective measures when needed.
Guest Experience:
Deliver a best-in-class guest experience by maintaining high service standards ensuring product quality engaging with guests and upholding all cleanliness and health code requirements.
Interdepartmental Coordination:
Collaborate with Sales Culinary and other departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery for all banquet events.
Financial Oversight:
Support the achievement of financial goals by managing labor costs monitoring inventory of supplies and equipment and identifying opportunities for operational efficiency.
Revenue Optimization:
Recommend and implement revenue-generating initiatives in partnership with Sales and other hotel departments.
Audio/Visual
Must have experience with Audio/Visual equipment setup and troubleshooting.
Audit & Billing Accuracy:
Review banquet checks to ensure all services are accurately documented and invoiced in a timely manner.
Cleanliness & Maintenance:
Ensure all meeting and event spaces are clean organized and meet Atrium Cleanliness Assured and brand standards. Assist with cleaning as needed.
Menu Collaboration:
Partner with culinary leadership in developing and launching new menu items.
Reporting & Communication:
Maintain accurate records and daily operational reports. Keep hotel leadership informed of department performance issues and progress.
Safety & Compliance:
Understand and adhere to hotel emergency procedures including fire life and safety protocols.
Additional Duties:
Perform any other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the department and hotel operations.
Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
2 years supervisory experience in banquet operations
Preferred Prior Experience:
Hospitality experience
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Education:
Associates degree or higher in hospitality business or a related field
Required Licenses/ Certification:
ServSafe and TIPS Certification completed at time employment begins
Required Technology:
Basic computer knowledge including the Microsoft Suite of Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook and Teams

Able to lift 50lbs occasionally
Able to lift 25lbs regularly
Able to navigate the work areas for duration of scheduled shift
