Your contribution to Prysmians Success:
We are looking for a R&D Submarine Technology Specialist to join our plant in Arco Felice (NA).
Reporting directly to the Submarine Cable Design Manager you will have an active role in product development projects and technological assistance mainly done in the manufacturing units where you will support on activities related to cable production with focus to support technological/process improvement factory joint technology development and technology transfer to Operation.
In particular you will:
contribute to product development targets in agreement with function responsible proposing new solutions and improvements.
to set a profitable link with all R&D Engineering and Operation functions to improve product development and technological assistance.
get the technical ownership of submarine cable manufacturing to properly contribute to product development and assistance to Operation.
get the technical ownership of factory joint technology to actively contribute to technology transfer to Operation and to support seamless production in the factory.
contribute to a structured data collection on processes to better define the best practices and to participate actively to their diffusion in the company.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
Engineering degree
Fluent in English and Italian
Available to travel (when needed)
Up to 2-3 years of experience in a similar role/productive environment
Data driven with a talent for translating complexity into clearly defined recommendations
Analytic mind & strong problem-solving capabilities
Strong organization skills (ability to prioritize workload for ensuring deadline compliance in line with expectation)
Decision making attitude critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong teamwork skills results oriented and ambitious mindset
