Were excited to recruit a Tenancy Sustainment Advisor (Income)on a fixed term contract until 31st March 2026 where youll be able to play a key role in shaping our future.
What youll be doing
Were working in partnership with Maidstone Borough Council Xantura and Policy in Practice on initiatives to prevent homelessnessand provide support to financially vulnerable households. This role will support this work in line with our data sharing arrangements by:
Youll also help and support customers in the early stages of their tenancy to ensure rent accounts are successfully maintained.
More about you. What can you bring
Ideally youll have previous experience of income management welfare benefits or tenancy sustainment. Knowledge of income management / arrears recovery and the ability to help with budgeting / income maximisation advice would be key. Youd have previously worked with supportedand engagedwith customers and have proven experience of working to achieve specific targets.
Youll be responsible for the outputs of this project and coordinating the results. Youll be confident working with computerised housing management systems and have an understanding of housing and other policies regulations or incentives to maximise tenants income.
Youll be responsible for positive interactions with our customer to help them improve their financial wellbeing / sustain their tenancies.
When and where youll be doing it
Youll enjoy a 37 hour working week and earn an annual salary of circa 38495 dependent upon your knowledge skills and experience.
