CGI is seeking an experienced P&C Insurance Business Analyst with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills excellent oral and written communication abilities and a keen attention to detail.
Experience in Property & Casualty Insurance and the SDLC process (Waterfall & Agie) is required. This role involves working closely with other business consulting team members and project managers with a focus on IT modernization.
This position is located in our Webster MA client office; however a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Identify and understand customer expectations study existing business processes program and legacy system
Communicate key insights and findings to the product team by translating and simplifying the requirements
Translate business requirements into detailed system documentation and user stories.
Help design documents and maintain system processes
Prioritize initiatives based on the business needs and requirements
Coordinate user acceptance testing
Understand Business/Operational and IT Systems Analysis & Integration
Perform a functional analysis of existing systems/applications and document findings
Interact with both Business Partners and/or end-users as well as programmers IT staff
Balance attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind
The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in business system analysis
Write clear and detailed requirements/user stories in Jira
Working knowledge of Jira
Expertise in planning and conducting facilitative sessions for requirements gathering
Experience with creating a detailed report and giving presentations
Experience in data analysis and data visualization to draw business-relevant conclusions

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set level experience relevant training and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $74600.00 - $130500.00.
