Job Description

Position Title: Facility Inspector

Reports to: Operations Manager

Location: Tucson AZ

Employment Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt

Schedule: MondayFriday 8-hour days 40 hours/week between 7:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. (excluding federal holidays)


Position Summary: : Aldevra is currently seeking a qualified Facility Inspector. The Facility Inspector provides technical inspection and data analysis support for facility maintenance and sustainment projects at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson AZ. This role involves conducting inspections generating reports updating asset management systems and advising on preventive maintenance and infrastructure condition. The inspector works independently on-site ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards while supporting government decision-making. This position is contingent upon contract award.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide inspection and data analysis services across multiple facilities
  • Submit weekly activity reports summarizing tasks status risks and open issues
  • Provide technical reports evaluations and briefings
  • Advise on preventive maintenance data analysis facility inspections
  • Support data entry quality control and reporting in TRIRIGA/BUILDER systems
  • Develop and review memoranda documentation and special project data
  • Support backlog resolution of asset assessments
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow security/FOUO guidelines
  • Adhere to base safety fire prevention and appearance standards
  • Maintain professional communication with government personnel
  • All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Security Requirements:

  • Capable of passing Tier 3 background investigation (T3)
  • Must be able to obtain CAC clearance.

This position requires passing an extensive background check.


Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree in Building Inspection (or related disciplines such as Electrical Plumbing Mechanical ADA or Energy Regulations)
  • OR 5 years of industrial facility inspection experience
  • OR 5 years of field engineer experience
  • OR ICC and/or state certification in lieu of experience
  • Valid U.S. drivers license
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner
  • Excellent and accurate written communication
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems; online calendars and cloud systems; intermediate to advanced skills Microsoft office products required
  • Excellent attention to detail; accurate data entry
  • Customer Focused and team-oriented work ethic
  • Able to multi-task efficiently and accurately focusing on quality
