F&B Server/Cashier
Join Our Team as a Server/Cashier at Shoshone-Bannock Casino Hotel!
Are you passionate about providing legendary guest service in a fast-paced team-oriented environment Were looking for friendly motivated individuals to join our Food & Beverage team as Server/Cashiers. If you enjoy working with people handling transactions and creating memorable dining experiences this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What Youll Do:
- Serve Guests: Greet guests with a smile take food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly.
- Operate POS System: Accurately enter orders process payments (cash credit comps coupons) and reconcile your register.
- Host Duties: Escort guests to tables explain menu or buffet options and assist with seating arrangements.
- Promote Guest Satisfaction: Ensure every guest has a positive experience and communicate any concerns to the F&B Supervisor.
- Support the Team: Assist with side work table bussing beverage dispensing and maintaining a clean organized work area.
- Follow Procedures: Adhere to all safety cash handling and service protocols.
- Maintain Confidentiality: Handle all guest and company information with the highest level of discretion.
- Stay Compliant: Complete all required training and certifications including TIPS and Food Handlers.
What Were Looking For:
Education and Experience Levels:
Entry Level (G4/S1-3 DOE):
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- One (1) year or more of cash handling experience.
- One (1) year or more in food service customer service or hospitality.
Experienced Level (G5/S1-3 DOE):
- Associates degree in Business Management Hospitality or related field.
- Two (2) years or more in food service or hospitality.
- Three (3) years or more in food preparation cashiering or culinary roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service.
- Basic math and POS system proficiency.
- Friendly professional appearance and attitude.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus!
Certificates License and Registrations:
- Must submit supporting documents (Diploma GED Degree Certificates).
- Must obtain and maintain valid Food Handlers and TIPS certifications.
- Must pass a background check and drug/alcohol screening.
- Must have a valid Drivers License and qualify for Fleet Management coverage.
Physical Demands:
- Stand for long periods (610 hours) lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Use hands arms and vision for various tasks.
- Work in a public environment with exposure to smoke noise and moving parts.
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced guest-facing environment.
- Exposure to mechanical equipment tobacco smoke and moderate to loud noise.
- Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and tribal ordinances.
