Your Role
The Commercial Excellence Project Manager will work in a collaborative way with the Commercial leadership teams within the Brenntag Specialties division (BSP) to drive the execution of sales strategies and improve results including assisting in Salesforce alignment execution and adoption. Under guidance and coordination of the Brenntag North America (BNA) Commercial Excellence Manager.
Common Commercial Excellence standards as well as a harmonized Sales Process will be established and maintained. Sales/Industry and Product Managers will be assisted in tracking implementation and execution across the board.
Responsibilities
- Propose and plan initiatives to achieve commercial excellence in the assigned focus industry organization
- Develop and maintain market know-how transparency on internal/ external best practices while conducting initiative-related reporting
- Execute initiatives in line with defined targets from Commercial Excellence Manager to achieve commercial and functional excellence in the assigned organization through collaboration with affected departments
- Measure and benchmark performance
- Support / Promote the use of the Brenntag Digital Platform Brenntag Connect under the umbrella of CRM Sales Force.
- Suggest and initiate CRM Salesforce functionality enhancements and expansion of capabilities and interact and funnel requirements with BNA Sales Force IT Competence center.
- Improve Closing Rate of Opportunities in Opportunity Pipeline through more focused approach and effective Opportunity Pipeline Management by Commercial Leadership.
- Guide the Sales-Industry Managers to elevate the game of their Sales Teams (i.e. through 1 x 1 CRM Sales Force Coaching).
- Train both Sales-Industry Managers and Sales Executives to effectively use Sales Force (Call Reports / Opportunity Pipelines / SPRs / Dashboards / Sales 101 document etc.).
- Help to promote desired Brenntag Commercial Behavior through Sales Force (harmonized Sales Process and common CE Standards).
Your Profile
Skills
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Knowledge and understanding of the sales cycle
- Excellent teaming communication and organizational skills
- Read analyze and interpret reports
- Strong quantitative and data analysis skills
- Business English proficiency ideally cross-cultural experience
Experience
- Experience in the chemical distribution business preferred
- 5 years sales or marketing experience
- Superior written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Education
- Bachelors degree with concentration in business administration information systems and/or related fields
- Strong technical capabilities including CRM Salesforce. Qlik and Excel
- Strong Teamwork and Interpersonal skills to support teams across the ROCs and Industry platforms.
