Alfred Health is a leader in health care delivery improvement research and education. We are the main provider of health services to people living in the inner southeast suburbs of Melbourne from ambulatory to inpatient and home and community-based services.
The Department
Alfred Health Support Services provides non-clinical support services across Alfred Health these services include cleaning services car parking and fleet management waste management gardens and grounds distribution security and access control ward support linen services ancillary services food services and hospitality.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Cleaning Team Leader to operate as a key member of our Support Services this role you will assist the Cleaning Manager in the day-to-day supervision and management of all cleaning staff ensuring cleaning standards meet or exceed industry best practices.
This position is ideal for a proactive leader with 5 years of cleaning experience who is eager to grow into a full management role. The role will be performed in a manner that meets or exceeds industry best practice and maintains cleaning standards in accordance with the Department of Health Cleaning Standards for Public Hospitals. You will work closely with Support Services Coordinators to ensure we maintain a committed safe and socially responsible multi-skilled team.
