THE TEAM
The Marketplace Product team at Ticketmaster partners across the company and across the globe to identify opportunities to drive client fan and internal company value through web mobile and integration solutions services that power Ticketmaster retail experiences. Our products cover ecommerce services marketing order processing services and fulfillment services.
THE JOB
The Senior Product Manager is a pivotal role in the development of Ticketmasters marketplace. This individual will have direct and shared ownership for products within the Ticketmaster Resale platform. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with key members of the Ticketmaster and Live Nation teams. Key areas of responsibility include communication relationship management requirements gathering and definition and guiding initiatives through the product development lifecycle. The role requires someone who is comfortable operating at a fast pace is detail oriented drives for results and takes pride in offering quality experiences which delight our customer. This person will help evolve the business and the technology behind it to ensure a smooth purchase experience for fans looking for their next live event whether its concerts theater or sports.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Translate and prioritize business needs into innovative quality solutions
Drive product and customer experience from concept to launch working with cross-functional teams of product managers designers engineering and operations across the globe
Determine and manage requirements and user stories for both internal and client-facing products services with input from internal stakeholders and at times external clients
Write prioritize and manage sprints and backlog driven by needs usage and value insights
Collaborate with internal stakeholder and engineering leadership to contribute to a strategic product roadmap
Develop and track metrics for success ensuring the team is clear on their objectives every step of the way.
Take ownership of documentation demos and sequence diagrams as tools to manage a complex system of interdependencies
Capture monitor and present hard data (KPIs) to assess assumptions and feature concepts for modifications or future enhancements
Be the evangelist of assigned product collaborating with client support education and marketing teams to communicate product changes to Ticketmasters clients and fans and to define go to market strategy
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
5-7 years product management experience in either eCommerce pricing machine learning or other related fields
Proven success in delivering B2B or B2C digital products from concept to launch
Good knowledge of technical subjects such as microservices API integrations databases etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and handle shifting priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills comfortable with presentations and interacting with internal teams and business stakeholders
Familiarity with agile processes and product management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence Miro)
Understanding of the ticketing live event industry or financial industry trading systems a plus
Remote with hybrid opportunities in the central time zone; the greater Chicagoland region a plus
Bachelors degree in business technology or a related field

The expected compensation for this position is:
$109000.00 USD - $136000.00 USD** Pay is based on a number of factors including market location qualifications skills and experience.
