Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and competent care to VA clients in their homes
- Assist with activities of daily living including personal care mobility assistance and medication reminders
- Monitor and report changes in clients conditions to supervisory staff
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients
- Ability to support and redirect dementia and PTSD behaviors in a professional manner
Requirements:
- Valid VA certification as a caregiver
- Prior experience in providing in-home care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
