What Youll Do

• Work closely with the Director of Insurance Services on answering various insurance questions from team members throughout the organization
• Collaborate with the DIS on creating more streamlined processes on tenant COI collection and review
• Coordinate collection of tenant COIs
• Manage all COI requests/revisions in a timely and accurate fashion
• Act as an escalation point for continued support/training on VendorShield-VendorCafe application
• Review and manage COIs received via mail
• Review and enter premium invoices into Yardi for payment processing
• Assist the DIS during the portfolio and operational entities policy renewals
• Manage procuring payment and performance bonds for various projects
• Update the quarterly bond summary report for insurance broker and surety
• Manage reviewing certificates for vendors not going through VendorCafe
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Who You Are

• Experience working with P&C insurance highly preferred
• Knowledge & basic experience with commercial property and casualty insurance
• Highly organized strong time management and attention to detail skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple requests and obligations to facilitate a smooth organized workflow; ability to determine urgency of issues.
• Ability to think independently and analytically and make recommendations accordingly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service/consulting/collaborating skills
• Must be able to interact with all levels and disciplines of employees and develop relationships to assist in managing the requirements of the job
• Must be familiar with Microsoft applications with an emphasis on Excel
• 1 year experience with commercial property and casualty insurance preferred
• 1 year experience with Yardi commercial property management system preferred
