Biomedical Equipment Technician III
Location: Pittsburgh PA
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician III to join our team in Pittsburgh PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation maintenance calibration and repair of complex biomedical equipment and systems. This position requires a strong understanding of medical equipment technology and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Install maintain calibrate and repair a variety of biomedical equipment and systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety testing on medical devices
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and implement appropriate solutions
- Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medical equipment
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Biomedical Equipment Technician
- Strong knowledge of medical equipment technology and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass background and drug screen.
