Summary of Duties:
Evaluate equipment operations problems and emergencies in buildings on campuses having multiple buildings which are non-contiguous; take appropriate action to return equipment to its normal operating condition; monitor building systems operations to ensure their normal functioning.

Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $4865 to $5643 Range 48G (Steps G-M) Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidates current experience education skills and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
Four years of journey-level experience in one or more skilled trades including experience in heating and air-conditioning systems mechanical and electrical systems. Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license/certification/registration.
Must have or be able to obtain by time of hire a valid drivers license and meet requirements in accordance with SPPM 7.10 and departmental driving standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in at least one form ofCCMSsystems including Siemens Insight Siemens Desigo or Alerton Compass software packages.
Demonstrated experience using all types of power tools & equipment utilized in troubleshooting & maintenance of electrical mechanical environmental & structural systems & equipment.
Four (4) years of journey level experience inHVAC Electrical or Mechanical trade.
Demonstrated computer software skills including the ability to use office software such as databases spreadsheets word processing.
