We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance (QA) Professional to help ensure the reliability functionality and overall quality of our web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design implement and manage test scenarios and test plans derived from both technical specifications and business needs.
- Conduct various types of testingfunctional regression exploratory and usabilityacross web and mobile platforms.
- Log and monitor bugs or issues using tools such as JIRA Trello or other tracking systems.
- Work closely with engineers designers and product managers to ensure optimal product quality.
- Validate bug resolutions and verify deployments during release phases.
- Offer constructive input on UI/UX design application performance and overall usability.
- Maintain comprehensive testing documentation and suggest improvements to QA workflows.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning and retrospectives.
Technical Competencies:
- At least 1 year of experience in manual testing ideally within SaaS or web-based application environments.
- Solid grasp of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Hands-on experience with exploratory regression usability and functional testing for web and mobile platforms.
- Skilled in using tools like JIRA TestRail or equivalent for bug tracking and test case management.
- Capable of writing and executing comprehensive test cases and documenting defects clearly.
- Basic proficiency in SQL for performing data verification.
- Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman.
- Knowledge of responsive and cross-browser testing techniques.
- Able to develop structured test plans execute them effectively and prepare detailed test reports.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices and participation in iterative development cycles.
- Experience in assessing UI/UX and providing actionable usability suggestions.
