Summary
We are looking for a Compliance Verification Engineer for Airborne Reconnaissance (f/m/d) for the Air SIGINT Systems Engineering department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.Your Tasks
Compliance Verification Engineer according to the tasks and responsibilities of the civil and military certification procedures EASA Part 21J and DEMAR Part 21J
Independent review and signing of airworthiness verification for airborne reconnaissance systems in the role of Compliance Verification Engineer
Responsibility for and creation of verification documentation
Support in the preparation and review of the Declaration of Design and Performance (DDPs) for airborne SIGINT
Supporting and advising development in the preparations for verification including document reviews
Accompanying laboratory and ground tests of the verification process also at subcontractors in Germany and abroad
Communication and coordination with civil and military approval authorities
Responsibility for maintaining airworthiness
Your Profile
Degree in aerospace engineering engineering sciences communications engineering computer science or a comparable course of study
Many years (min. 5 years) of experience in aviation certification of civil and military modifications to large aircraft (e.g. CS-25)
Proven practical experience as a Compliance Verification Engineer or in a similar aviation certification role
Experience in the integration of military systems into aircraft
Extensive experience in preparing and conducting technical presentations and audits for certification authorities (EASA and LufABw)
Experience in the certification of airborne SIGINT EW systems or similar complex military systems
Business fluent German and very good written and spoken English skills
