Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add an Business Excellence Technician 5 located in Columbia SC.
Reporting to the Business Excellence Manager the Business Excellence Technician 5 role is responsible for continuously driving a culture of excellence in the organization coaching and enabling waste removal activities using lean and six sigma approaches and tools and guiding actions to a sustainable conclusion.
What a typical day looks like:
- Support lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3.
- Support in designing and building workstations supermarket racks benches trolleys etc.
- Familiar with and able to use Moonshine tools and machines effectively.
- Ensure good 5S in the work area.
- Implement identified Best practices timely.
- Prepare and upload completed kaizen projects in the BE on-line Systems.
- Maintain and update various indicators on the lean gallery and other defined locations.
The experience were looking to add to our team:
- Typically requires previous experience in lean manufacturing and 5s culture.
- Office skills: Telephone skills data entry office software to include word processing spreadsheet and presentation.
- Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations.
