ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct time studies line balancing and cost modeling to support continuous improvement.
- Participate in Kaizen events and implement lean manufacturing tools (5S visual management standard work).
- Identify automation and improvement opportunities in manufacturing flow.
- Analyze process capability stability and performance in ongoing production.
- Support process design and optimization initiatives.
- Contribute to process validation and creation of technical documentation (work instructions process specs).
- Assist with spare parts strategy development and asset lifecycle management.
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pursuing a bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical Chemical Industrial Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited university/college
- Strong analytical organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word PowerPoint); basic understanding of data analysis tools
- Interest in manufacturing automation and process improvement
- Prior experience with Lean tools CAD or programming (PLC/HMI) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a plant environment
