Manufacturing Engineering Intern

Description:Assist Manufacturing Engineers with all aspects of their daily routines.
Key Tasks:
- PPAP Project Support
- Conduct troubleshooting studies for machinery and quality issues
- 8D project studies
- Documentation updates (system & floor)
- SPC studies
- Plant floor layout design
- Time Studies and Process Cycle Time Improvements
- Redesign machine components
- Document Preparation and design (Work Standards Control Plans Process Documentation)
- Gaging - CPK Studies
- OEE & Process Standards
- Machining Capability Improvements
- Tolerances
- Reduce process variation
Education Requirements Include:
- Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Industrial Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to reliably commute our Bellwood IL plant (not remote)
- Experience showing mechanical aptitude a plus
- Excellent communication skills required - oral and written
- Good multi-tasking skills
- Ability to drive for results is essential
- Ability to do logical problem solving
- Basic understanding of engineering principles
- Willingness and desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Computer literacy is necessary
- Time Management Skills
Pay Range:
$21.89 $29.86
