POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelors degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in marketing communications business or a healthcare related field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years leading Business Development teams strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years experience working in a selling role and with sales technology and CRM software strongly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods as well as employee motivation techniques.
- Strong working knowledge of healthcare specifically Hospice and the market.
- Excellent leadership communication interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proven experience and track record in successfully achieving revenue and meeting goals in healthcare.
- Great strategic planning organizational and creative thinking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent organizational skills management and leadership skills

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership to Business Development Liaisons which includes managing training coaching and providing overall guidance to the Business Development team of an assigned territory
- Lead business development change initiatives and removes obstacles impeding constructive organizational change.
- Establish and maintain productive peer to peer relationships with customers and prospects.
- Identify where improvements can be made and develop sales plans and strategies to achieve sales goals.
- Monitor performance of the Business Development team and motivate members to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Establish training and education courses that grow our mission vision and value offering in the community
- Recruitment and retention for Business Development team
- Set quarterly and annual sales goals and motivate the sales teams to achieve their goals.
- Monitor market and competitor products and activities and provide detailed sales forecasting.
- Review customer activity anticipate consumer needs and improve customer satisfaction through strategic evaluation of analytics and data
- Establish and maintain key customer relationships.
- Communicate regularly and develop strong communication pathways and partnerships with internal clinical and operational partners to provide Full Life Care for all.
Location:
This position will be based in the Empath Health footprint and will require travel throughout the Empath Health footprint.
