Job Summary:
Fortive is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Strategic Finance Leader to lead high-impact finance initiatives across the enterprise. This role will be instrumental in advancing Fortives capital allocation strategy M&A activities and enterprise-wide financial optimization efforts. Acting as a key advisor to C-level leadership this individual will deliver data-driven insights financial models and strategic recommendations that unlock value creation and guide critical business decisions.
This position requires a hands-on leader with a strong foundation in M&A execution financial modeling capital markets and enterprise finance strategy. The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in investment banking or private equity with direct experience partnering with executive teams to evaluate structure and execute complex transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic and Operational Partner:
Act as a strategic thought partner to senior executives on enterprise financial and operational strategy. Provide analytical support and business insights to drive profitable growth and inform decision-making at the highest levels.
M&A Execution and Corporate Development Support:
Partner closely with the Corporate Development team and executive leadership to evaluate model and execute M&A transactions and divestitures. Apply investment banking rigor to deal analysis valuation due diligence and integration planning.
Financial Modeling and Strategic Analysis:
Lead the development of complex financial models to evaluate operating company performance strategic initiatives and capital investments. Conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses to guide risk-adjusted decision-making.
Capital Markets and Treasury Strategy:
Support capital structure optimization by providing detailed capital markets analysis and financial policy recommendations. Assist with initiatives including debt financing dividend policy hedging strategy and share repurchase programs.
Enterprise Cost Optimization:
Identify and implement cost-efficiency opportunities across the organization using data-driven insights FBS (Fortive Business System) tools and industry benchmarking.
Investor Relations Support:
Partner with the Investor Relations team to shape external messaging earnings call content and investor presentations. Provide analysis and insights that support transparent and compelling communication with shareholders and analysts.
