Supervise and participate in the work of semi-skilled and skilled workers performing maintenance and repair of airfield markings pavement repairs mowing heavy equipment operating and RSA/TSA signage. Knowledge of FAA Part 139 Certification requirements. Work is performed under strict guidelines such as FAA and TSA time limitations and limited supervision. Follow guidelines for public safety security and customer service. Work involves considerable contact with the FAA contractors airline tenants and airport employees.

High school graduation/GED plus five years experience in general construction labor and maintenance work or associate degree and three years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work/industry/military/job specific experience that provides the necessary knowledge skills and abilities to successfully perform the essential job duties. Supervisory experience preferred. Must be familiar with or have the ability to become familiar with the FAA part 139 standard requirements for the airfield environment TSA airport security requirements and the FAA part 77 standard requirements.

Physical Requirements:
Spends approximately 60% of the time standing bending walking and lifting. The remaining 40% of the time includes a combination of sitting twisting kneeling squatting driving pulling pushing lifting shoveling and carrying. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted. May operate complex construction equipment for extended periods and sometimes under unfavorable weather conditions.

Final candidates must pass a pre-employment drug-screening test and physical examination. During the selection process candidates may be asked to take a skills test and/or participate in other assessments.
