Job Description

About the Role:

PHD EMEA has created the exciting new role of Senior Digital Operations Manager working in the global VWG Media Operations team. Working across nine leading brands and covering over twenty markets this person will be central to driving our KPI-led approach to tracking and rewarding excellence for our Digital Activation Hubs.

There are two focus areas for this role:

  • KPI-driven strategy: collaborate with market teams on KPI selection and setting; partner with Data Tech & Ops to build reliable reporting; deliver financial insights to stakeholders; and continuously refine processes for maximum efficiency.
  • Digital media quality excellence: manage end-to-end processes to monitor measure and optimise digital media quality performance while upholding VWGs brand safety and reputation in the digital ecosystem.

Reporting to the Reputation Governance Lead youll liaise with Activation Hubs central Data Tech & Ops teams and global client teams. This role is perfect for a data-savvy digital operations professional looking to take a step up grow managerial skills and to work on iconic brands in one of the worlds top media agencies.

You will be the go-to expert for ensuring that campaign KPI setting and tracking run seamlessly and efficiently. They will also take ownership of the processes that monitor measure and enhance digital media quality. This role calls for a data-literate digitally savvy individual with strong attention to detail and a passion for operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Market & Hub Engagement

Collaboration with local markets and activation hubs is central to this role. Strong communication skills and confident stakeholder engagement are essential to drive alignment and operational excellence.

Reporting & Dashboarding

This role involves close collaboration with our OMG data teams to support both the backend infrastructure and front-end visualisation that drive performance insights. Were looking for a data-savvy individual who enjoys diving deep into datasets and turning insights into action.

  • Designing and implementing a finance reporting process to track activation hub performance against campaign KPIs and compliance with digital media guidelines.
  • Partnering with the Data Tech & Operations (DTO) team to deliver dynamic accurate and comprehensive dashboards and insights to a diverse set of stakeholders.
  • Troubleshooting dashboard-related issues in collaboration with Data Engineering Reporting Data QA and Taxonomy Compliance teams to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Process Improvement

  • Owning maintaining and automating documentation that tracks KPI commitments across all local market campaigns.
  • Automating reporting and optimisation workflows using tools such as Python PowerBI and Hive to drive efficiency.
  • Collaborating with ad verification partners to identify and execute test-and-learn initiatives that enhance digital media quality performance.
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performance team of one manager and two analysts fostering a culture of curiosity innovation and continuous improvement.

About You:

  • Experience in a media agency or similar organization.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of biddable media and processes.
  • Proven record of managing senior stakeholders communicating complex and nuanced concepts.
  • Analytically minded and experienced in managing complex data systems.
  • Experience of an automotive brand or working with data and digital global markets useful but not essential.
  • In-depth experience and knowledge of digital performance media and processes.
  • Data-literate approach and comfortable working with complex data.
  • Eye-for-detail to stay on top of a complex and nuanced set of systems and processes.
  • Effective communication skills to deal with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data governance infrastructure campaign reporting and data visualization.
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Team leadership experience; building a connected high performing team.

Our standard working hours are 9:30 17:30 but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day whether thats in the office or working remotely. For example you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30.
