About the role
As a Fraud Expert you will be responsible to optimise fraud prevention detection and mitigate impact for Vestiaire Collective on a given scope. You will become the company referent on Payment and Chargeback scope. You will report directly to Authentication Quality Control & Trust VP based in Paris HQ
While responsibility attached to this role can be wider we are currently looking for experience to prevent and detect payment fraud. Knowledge of Adyen Riskified Paypal and Klarna is a big plus.
What you will do
- Performance management & Implementation (60%)
- You monitor and analyse short- and long term payment fraud impact on conversion and chargeback you report on KPIs evolution
- You take ownership to define and implement action plans including continuous adjustment of payment risk rules
- You partner with internal (payment data product security) and external stakeholders (such as Adyen Riskified AMEX Visa Mastercard Paypal Klarna)
- You are ensuring quality delivered by outsourced partners
- You leverage data and data insights to define actions that help us to deliver against our objectivesYou act as Project manager when required
- Fraud strategy (20%)
- You participate in emergency team response and are able to back-up fraud analyst when needed to ensure Vestiaire anti fraud effort continuity
- As a back up you are responsible for specific daily operations among suspicious transactions review and investigation tickets.
- You will be mentoring the Analysts in the Team.
- Operations (20%)
- You surface risks and opportunities to better detect prevent and mitigate Payment fraud so as reducing Chargebacks
- You stay up to date with payment fraud patterns and identify industry best-practices
- You propose strategies to management in order to achieve company and team goals mitigating payment fraud risk and chargebacks costs while balancing customer experience
Who you are
- You have a Bachelor degree and 5 of years experience in related e-commerce Fraud detection / risk management
- Youre passionate about identifying and stopping fraudulent activities or rings.
- You are driven proactive and rigorous
- You demonstrate excellent analytical and investigative skills a keen eye for detail and an ability to think critically
- You are data driven have a solid track record leveraging SQL BI tool and dashboarding (e.g. Tableau) to make a positive impact on business metrics
- You are comfortable communicating with various people and teams to get the information you need to help customers outYou enjoy working with international teams
