At Versent as a Senior ServiceNow Technical Consultant you will lead the design implementation and optimisation of complex ServiceNow solutions leveraging NextGen platform advancements to drive strategic customer outcomes. You will stay ahead of technology innovations and ServiceNow releases mentor team members shape innovative workflows and foster a collaborative high-performing environment while delivering transformative projects.
Must be an Australian citizen able to obtain security clearance and currently residing in Australia ACT preferably.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver advanced ServiceNow solutions utilising latest features such as Agentic AI AI Control Tower and enhanced AI search to align customer objectives with technical configurations.
- Lead implementation and optimisation of ServiceNow modules including IT Service Management (ITSM) IT Operations Management (ITOM) IT Business Management (ITBM) and Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) incorporating AI-driven automation and low-code workflows.
- Oversee Configuration Management Database (CMDB) integrity ensuring compliance with Common Service Data Model (CSDM) standards and leveraging Yokohamas data management console for real-time governance.
- Design and implement complex integrations using ServiceNows REST APIs Scripted REST APIs Integration Hub and Workflow Data Fabric enabling interoperability with AI models and third-party systems.
- Drive customer and stakeholder engagement delivering high-impact solutions with exceptional communication while staying informed on trends like sustainable IT and AI governance.
- Mentor junior and mid-level consultants fostering expertise in AI agents low-code platforms and 2025 ServiceNow features through knowledge sharing and innovation.
- Contribute to Versents ServiceNow practice by identifying service expansion opportunities optimising processes and providing thought leadership on AI-driven workflows and cross-industry solutions.
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases (e.g. Yokohama Zurich) and technology trends (e.g. Agentic AI sustainable IT) ensuring solutions remain cutting-edge.
What Were Expecting from You
- 7 years of hands-on ServiceNow experience including advanced implementations in ITSM ITOM ITBM or GRC with proficiency in releases and features.
- Deep expertise in CMDB management CSDM frameworks and new features (e.g. Yokohamas data management console for optimised data governance).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certified Application Developer (CAD) and at least two Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications (e.g. CIS-ITSM CIS-ITOM CIS-Discovery) required; AI-related certifications and micro-certifications are a plus.
- Proficiency in front-end development (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript AngularJS) and ServiceNow scripting (e.g. GlideAPI Business Rules) for custom and low-code solutions.
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow integrations including REST APIs Scripted REST APIs Integration Hub and Workflow Data Network with a focus on AI and IoT connectivity.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build strong customer relationships.
- Proven mentorship experience with a collaborative mindset to drive team growth and customer success in an AI-driven landscape.
- Familiarity with emerging ServiceNow capabilities (e.g. AI Control Tower Security and Risk AI agents industry-specific workflows) and trends like sustainable IT and data security.
- Commitment to staying up-to-date with ServiceNow releases and technology innovations ensuring expertise in Agentic AI low-code platforms and cross-platform analytics.
- Strategic vision to innovate Versents ServiceNow offerings contributing to business development and thought leadership in AI governance and workflow automation.
