What Youll Do:
- Lead and mentor a team of software developers fostering a culture of growth accountability and innovation.
- Oversee the full software development lifecyclefrom planning and design to deployment and optimization.
- Align development strategies with organizational goals and ensure timely high-quality project delivery.
- Evaluate team performance provide coaching and support professional development.
- Analyze system performance and infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Manage relationships with internal stakeholders clients and external vendors.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity best practices compliance standards (including SOC II) and software quality benchmarks.
What You Bring:
- 8 years of experience in software development with 5 years in project management and 35 years leading technical teams.
- Strong technical background in PHP JavaScript (React) Git and relational databases.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with tools like Jira or Azure DevOps for project tracking and planning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear actionable insights.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity risk management and compliance standards.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Business Administration or a related field.
