Job Description
Ohel is seeking a talented self-motivated and enthusiastic person to take a lead role in working with applicants to the Agencys adult residential housing programs both mental health and developmental disabilities. You would be holding the hand of applicants with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities through the application process though engaging with them and/or their families mental health providers hospitals and community providers. Responsibilities include providing help to callers processing referrals in Ohels centralized database follow-up with appropriate services obtaining and reviewing applicant information participating in both in-reach and outreach initiatives as well as provide linkage to Ohels wide breadth of services. Applicant should be growth oriented very organized possess excellent customer service skills interpersonal skills clinical sophistication and proficient computer skills. BA/BS preferred. This full-time position is located in Brooklyn.
Salary: $45000 - $50000 per year
