About the Role
Were looking for a Senior Officer (Community) to own and grow Bowties parenting and maternity-focused community. We are looking for a customer-centric community manager who understands the real needs of expecting and new parents and is excited to help them navigate parenthood with confidence and carewe want to meet you.
This role blends community leadership marketing partnerships and a touch of empathy. Youll be the voice moderator and advocate for Hong Kong parents inside our vibrant digital community (including WhatsApp groups and social channels) helping them stay informed and empowered - while softly guiding them toward financial protection through insurance.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
1. Community Strategy & Planning
- Design and implement a monthly content calendar for each WhatsApp group (Due Date Groups Jetso Group etc.)
- Define KPIs (engagement retention soft conversions) and report performance weekly
2. Group Management & Moderation
- Moderate daily conversations to maintain tone safety and relevance
- Welcome new members answer questions and escalate leads to the onboarding experience
- Identify active users for ambassador or referral programs
3. Campaigns & Growth
- Launch giveaways polls webinars expert Q&As
- Collaborate with marketing for group promotion and lead funnels
- Recruit and manage partner Jetso offers and gift programs
4. Insurance Education & Soft Conversion
- Share insurance tips explainers and timely call-to-actions without being pushy
- Track who engages with product-related content and flag warm leads
5. Feedback Loop & Reporting
- Gather FAQs objections and suggestions from users to help improve:
- Product messaging
- UX
- Future campaigns
- Deliver bi-weekly feedback summaries to marketing and content teams
About you
Youre a natural community builder who thrives in online spaces especially when its about sharing supporting and growing with others. You understand what makes a group feel safe warm and trustworthyand how that translates into brand love and action.
Your Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with Parenting Communities: Ideally a parent yourself or experienced in parenting wellness communities
- Communication & Empathy: Able to moderate with warmth authority and tone alignment to brand voice
- Social/WhatsApp Skills: Proficient in WhatsApp Telegram Facebook Groups CRM tools like SleekFlow
- Prior Experience: 35 years in community management or alternative marketing
- Strategic Thinking: You know how to balance authentic engagement with commercial goals and track KPIs
Youll Thrive in This Role If You Can Hit These Targets:
- Lead-to-group conversion: > 50%
- Group retention:> 70%
- Weekly engagement:30% of user-generated content (UCG)
- Monthly app start rate:8% of group members
- Partner Jetso deals launched:12 per month
