Job Description
Location: Rowlett TX 75088
Duration: Permanent
Shift Available: Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Compensation: Based on experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care based on the nursing process and in accordance with standards of practice and hospital policy
- Monitor telemetry and recognize cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Educate patients and families on disease process treatment plans and post-discharge care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document all nursing activities accurately and timely
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- License: RN-Registered Nurse licensed in the State of Texas.
- Experience: 2 years of RN experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry unit
Certifications:
- BLS-Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
- ACLS-Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
