Job Description
- Location: Marble Falls TX 78657
- Assignment Duration: Permanent
- Compensation: Based on experience
Schedule Options:

Full-Time Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

4x10-hour shifts

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of geriatric patients including physical exams medical histories and psychosocial evaluations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in elderly patients
- Develop implement and evaluate individualized treatment and care plans
- Prescribe medications and therapies according to best practices and state regulations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs X-rays and other imaging studies
- Collaborate with physicians nurses case managers and other members of the healthcare team to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families about diagnoses treatment plans medications and lifestyle modifications
- Promote preventive care strategies including screenings immunizations and health education
- Document all patient interactions assessments treatments and outcomes in the electronic health record system accurately and in a timely manner
Key Success Factors
- Proficient in diagnosing and treating human injuries illnesses and chronic conditions
- Solid understanding of treatment protocols drug interactions and preventive care
- Skilled in formulating implementing and evaluating patient-centered care plans
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Effective interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Competency in interpreting diagnostic and lab results
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and clinical software
- Ability to provide compassionate counseling and health education to patients and families
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Experience: New graduates accepted (Less than 1 year of experience)
Licenses/Certifications Required:
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) current license in the state of Texas
- Registered Nurse (RN) Texas license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire or transfer
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensed in the state of Texas
- Board Certification as an APRN in a patient population focus (e.g. Adult-Gerontology)
