Job Description
The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement storage and tracking of materials parts and products. This role ensures that materials are properly received stored and delivered to production areas shipping docks or other departments in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:-
Load unload and move materials within or near plant yard or work site.

Receive incoming shipments verify contents against packing slips or invoices and report discrepancies.

Accurately pick pack and prepare materials for delivery or shipment.

Use forklifts pallet jacks or other material handling equipment safely and in accordance with training.

Maintain inventory records through manual logs or inventory management systems.

Assist in cycle counts and physical inventories.

Follow company safety policies and procedures including the proper use of PPE.

Keep work areas clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.

Communicate with supervisors or team leads regarding inventory levels or potential shortages.

Other duties as assigned.
