Job Description
Location: Atlanta GA
Duration: 12 Months
Tax terms: C2C W2 1099
- We are seeking an experienced Information Security Risk Assessor to join our growing Information Security team. In this role you will be responsible for leading and conducting comprehensive security assessments of new tools applications and systems to ensure alignment with internal standards and external regulatory frameworks. This position requires a deep understanding of security frameworks strong technical acumen and the ability to provide clear actionable recommendations for remediation and risk reduction.
- 7 10 years of relevant experience in information security IT audits risk assessments or compliance management
- One or more relevant security certifications such as CISSP GSEC CRISC CISM or CISA
- Hands-on experience with security programs controls audits remediation efforts or compliance management
- In-depth knowledge of leading security frameworks and standards such as:
- NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Cybersecurity Capability Maturity Model (C2M2)
- CIS Critical Security Controls
- Lead and deliver comprehensive security assessments of new applications systems and tools
- Evaluate compliance with Deltas Information Security Standards and identify gaps and risks
- Create detailed documentation of findings recommendations and remediation plans
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on security best practices and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with solution architects project managers and technical teams to design and implement secure IT processes and technical controls
- Ensure all assessments align with industry best practices and support regulatory and compliance requirements
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other team members on matters related to security posture and architecture
