Job Description
Job Title: SAP Project Manager
Location: Kolkata
Experience: Atleast 7 yrs in project management including 1 end to end global roll out experience in S4 HANA
Immediate joiner preferred
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with a strong background in engagement management project governance risk management and stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in managing SAP projects ensuring seamless within defined scope budget timeline and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Engagement Management:
Lead end-to-end SAP project lifecycle from planning to deployment and support.
Establish and maintain strong stakeholder relationships ensuring alignment between business objectives and project deliverables.
Set up and manage project governance frameworks ensuring structured reporting and decision-making.
Drive RAID (Risks Assumptions Issues Dependencies) management proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
Scope Budget and Cost Management:
Define project scope deliverables and objectives in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop and monitor project budgets ensuring cost control and financial forecasting accuracy.
Ensure effective resource allocation and vendor management to optimize costs.
Quality & Risk Management:
Implement quality assurance processes ensuring SAP solutions meet business and compliance requirements.
Conduct regular risk assessments ensuring timely mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.
Establish and track KPIs and SLAs ensuring project success and stakeholder satisfaction.
Project Governance & Reporting:
Set up structured governance mechanisms including steering committee reviews and status reporting.
Utilize RAID logs to track issues dependencies and risks ensuring transparency.
Ensure compliance with PMO standards Agile or Waterfall methodologies as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 years of experience in SAP project management preferably in SAP S/4HANA SAP ECC or other SAP modules.
Strong expertise in engagement management stakeholder communication and governance setup.
Hands-on experience in RAID management project risk scope cost and quality management.
Proficiency in project management tools (JIRA MS Project ServiceNow or similar).
Strong knowledge of Agile Waterfall or hybrid methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving leadership and communication skills.
PMP PRINCE2 or SAP Activate certification is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with large-scale SAP implementations in a manufacturing or enterprise environment.
Exposure to cloud-based SAP solutions (SAP BTP SAP Cloud).
