Job Description
We re seeking a passionate and driven Recruiter to join our client s team in their mission to support foster youth. In this pivotal role you ll be responsible for building and maintaining a strong workforce across both residential and clinical teams. Your efforts will directly impact the lives of vulnerable teenagers by ensuring the organization has the right staff to provide continuous care and support. Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for both residential care and clinical roles managing everything from job postings to initial interviews
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for various shifts including overnight positions
- Guide candidates through extensive background check processes maintaining regular communication to ensure engagement throughout
- Establish and nurture partnerships with local colleges to create internship programs and recruit entry-level talent
- Collaborate closely with the onboarding team to ensure a smooth transition for new hires into the organization
- Monitor analyze and report on key recruitment metrics and KPIs to continually improve hiring processes
- Create and execute strategies to enhance candidate retention throughout the hiring funnel addressing the unique challenges of the foster care industry
- Manage relationships with job platforms and other recruitment channels to maximize visibility and applicant quality
- Work cross-functionally with department heads to understand staffing needs and tailor recruitment efforts accordingly
Requirements
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting preferably within social services healthcare or high-turnover industries
- Strong understanding of the foster care industry and its unique staffing challenges is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse candidates and stakeholders
- Proficiency in using modern recruitment platforms applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience in conducting video interviews and maintaining a professional on-camera presence
- Strong attention to detail particularly in managing complex background check processes and compliance requirements
- Ability to think creatively and implement innovative recruitment strategies to overcome industry-specific challenges
- Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of foster youth through effective staffing solutions
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Psychology or a related field preferred
- SHRM-CP or similar HR certification is a plus
