construction building materials in the United States has immediate openings for Non CDL Drivers in the Stafford Virginia area for a Capitol 95 project. This position will be responsible for loading transporting and unloading ready mix concrete from batch plant to customer job sites following established safety service and quality policies and procedures. This driving role will last approximately 6-8 months with various wokring shifts between Day & Night shift.
WHAT YOULL ACCOMPLISH
- Delivery of Ready Mix Concrete Products.
- Communicates with Dispatcher to receive instructions.
- Positions truck under batch plant in order to be loaded by Batch Plant Operator.
- Receives written or printed delivery ticket and follows instructions as directed.
- Fills trucks water tank and verifies accurate slump of load makes adjustments as necessary.
- Safely drives loaded truck to destination on delivery ticket and inspects job site
Requirements
WHAT WERE LOOKING FOR
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver License
- Clean Driving record with no violations in the past 7 years
- Clean Criminal background within the last 7 years
- Willing to obtain CDL learner permit within 90 days of employment and obtain official CDL license within 1 year of employment (Company paid)
- Follows directions and adhere to delivery schedules and instructions
- Understands safe driving practices and standards
- Ability to frequently lift carry push and pull up to 50 pounds of material and often walk bend kneel reach and climb
- Desire and ability to learn new skills
- Excellent oral communication skills with close attention to detail
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation
- Licenses Required:
- Strong safety orientation
- Ability to work Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays
