The company has experienced rapid growth with revenue increasing from 4 billion yen in 2016 to 8.7 billion yen in 2019 more than doubling in just three years. With active business expansion they planned to hire over 100 new employees in 2020. Operating under a SaaS-based subscription business model the company maintains a high level of business stability.
You will be responsible for web application development related to the company s SaaS cloud services including adding new features performance improvements technical upgrades and modernization utilizing offshore development through a subsidiary in Indonesia.
1. Development management for the Indonesian subsidiary
Manage progress of development projects delegated to Indonesia
Communicate requirements and specifications and confirm deliverables
2. Development support for the Indonesian subsidiary
Understand and clearly explain questions or issues raised
Promote improvements to enhance productivity quality development efficiency and technical capability of the offshore team
3. Building the optimal Japan Indonesia development team
Since the team is newly formed youll help build an optimal structure across Japan and Indonesia
Optimize and improve the offshore development process
4. Business trips to Indonesia
Occasional trips to the local office to share knowledge understand current progress and strengthen relationships
The Indonesian side includes a Japanese representative local PM/PL and developers
Around 1 2 trips per year approx. 2 weeks each
5. Training and team management
In the future you may take part in training junior bridge engineers
Potentially manage the Japanese side of the offshore development team as it expands

Experience reviewing Java code
Ability to travel to Indonesia (Business Trip)
