ResponsibilitiesCORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
Assembles compiles and scans company information as it pertains to tax returns acquisition information and partnership documentation.
- Gather enter and digitize existing physical documents.
- Assist with W-9 requests and processing Tax Department mail.
- Create reports out of company software.
- Organize tax files and documents.
- File any new information/material from meetings.
- Scan copies of tax returns before they are filed with various taxing jurisdictions.
- Scan business license into OnBase.
- Scan Property Tax bills assessments and valuations into OnBase or similar document storage programs.
- Organize Personal Property Tax Returns.
Because this role involves access to confidential financial information the Company has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and to provide similar protections for its clients and potential investments.
QualificationsPOSITION REQUIREMENTS
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- Experience emailing and the ability to generate PDFs using a copy machine
- Experience supporting a busy high-volume environment
Preferred:
- Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Experience preparing and organizing exhibits
- Experience supporting complex finance property tax or licensing transactions.
TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Required:
- Exposure to administrative management systems such as billing system travel system expense reporting system
- Windows MS Word WordPerfect Power Point Outlook and Excel
Preferred:
- Experience with dictation transcription
- Experience with Summation software
