RiverView Health is a community owned membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston MN.

RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

Full-time (.8 - 1.0 FTE) Physical Therapist (PT)

Location: Hospital / outpatient
Position Status: .8 - 1.0 FTE (64 - 80 hours per pay period); Non-exempt subject to over-time

Schedule: 64-80 hours per two-week pay period; flexible scheduling available; includes weekend and holiday rotation

Pay Range: $38.61 - $54.06 (based on experience) - sign on bonus eligible

RiverView Health is looking to hire a full-time (64-80 hours every 2 weeks) Physical Therapist (PT). The PT will work as a member of our physical therapy team to evaluate and treat patients in the outpatient inpatient and sub-acute settings. The PT is expected to effectively and professionally interacting with patients family members and other health care team members while maintaining RiverView Health standards of behavior.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and interpret patient assessments to determine necessity for skilled services to develop physical therapy plans of care
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that focus on functional and measurable outcomes to achieve established therapy goals
  • Identify patients needs (physical cultural and psychosocial) and exhibit compassion caring and empathy to individual differences
  • Provide guidance and education to patients and their families on safety and mobility
  • Document and complete billing according to current standards and policies
  • Perform data collection and obtain accurate information
  • Effectively delegate tasks and supervise physical therapy assistants as needed
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
  • Assist in maintenance of equipment tools supplies and inventory
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards
  • Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge

Opportunities:

Qualifications

What are we looking for:

Minimum(s):

  • Current clinicians:
    • Current State of Minnesota license as a Physical Therapist/ PT or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Physical Therapist / PT.
    • Current American Heart BLS certification is required. If not held currently training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire.
  • Current students:
    • Clinical experience in inpatient and outpatient settings.
    • Requiring passing score on NPTE within 3 months of hire.
    • Current American Heart BLS certification is required. If not held currently training will be provided and certification must be obtained within 4 months from the date of hire.
