Job Description:

The University of Floridas Office of Admissions is seeking enthusiastic and motivated students to join us as campus visit tour guides outreach specialists and campus experience representatives! This is a fantastic opportunity to represent UF connect with prospective and admitted students and families and play a vital role in shaping the campus visit experience.

As a Visit Experience Representative and Tour Guide you will be at the forefront of showcasing UF to prospective and admitted students and their families. Throughengaging storytelling personalized interactions and operational excellence you will help deliver abest-in-classcampus visit in-person or virtually experience that highlights the unique opportunities UF offers.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Campus Tours & Guest Engagement

  • Lead prospective and admitted students and families onin-person and virtual campus tours providing insights into both UFs physical campus and its academic and student life offerings.
  • Utilizestorytelling techniquesto create a memorable engaging experience that highlights what makes UF special.
  • Conduct indoor tours during inclement weather and adapt to different audience needs.

Campus Experience and Tour Guide Team Support

  • Serve as a representative atlarge visit and virtual events providing tours greeting guests assisting with check-in and offering directional guidance. This may include select weekends evenings and break periods.
  • Support the daily operations of theWelcome Center and Criser Hall front desk delivering excellent customer service.
  • Assist with event logistics including assembling materials setting up event spaces coordinating signage and ensuring smooth transitions between activities.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from prospective students and families.
  • Assist with other responsibilities as needed.
Expected Salary:

$14/hour

Required Qualifications:

Must be acurrent UF studentwho can commit to this role fromAugust 11 2025 through May 1 2026.

Preferred:
  • Previous experience as atour guide student ambassador or customer-facing role.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Friendly professional and reliable with a passion for UF and a commitment to delivering an exceptional visitor experience.
  • Willingness to support expanded tour availability including select Saturdays and Sundays home game Fridays and UF academic breaks to meet high visitor demand.
Special Instructions to Applicants:

This position will report to the UF Welcome Center or Criser Hall but will involve extensive walking across various locations on campus.
