Job Description
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Full-Time Position Available: 9AM-9PM every other holiday and every 4th weekend rotation
RN base wage: $34.13/hour
LPN base wage: $27.70/hour
About us:
Hills & Dales is a non-profit organization dedicated to building meaningful lives for individuals with disabilities. Nurses are responsible for providing day-to-day preventative maintenance restorative and emergency nursing care for the children and young adults served by Hills and Dales. This role insures physician orders and treatment plans are implemented. This role also requires a collaborative working relationship with all necessary departments in the performance of its operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide preventative maintenance restorative and emergency nursing care.
Monitor and document residents health implement care plans and notify physicians of changes.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and maintain documentation.
Educate and support direct care staff on health-related duties.
Communicate effectively with residents families physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Respond promptly and professionally to health emergencies.
Coordinate with pharmacy labs and medical providers to ensure continuity of care.
Accompany residents to medical appointments as needed.
Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Supervise and support Certified Medication Aides.
Assist with resident care and staff health monitoring as needed.
Ensure documentation is complete and accurate using approved systems..
Requirements:
Certification as a licensed practical nurse; registered nurse preferred.
A minimum of one-year nursing experience with targeted population is preferred.
- Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Ability to lift 35 pounds independently.
Valid drivers license
Ability to qualify as an approved driver.
