Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled self-motivated technically minded Senior Civil Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team in applying engineering skills to a variety of challenging projects. We are looking for someone with experience that ranges from project entitlements and preliminary design through construction documents and construction administration.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Expected Base Salary: $100000 to $140000 based on experience.
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
- Competitive end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
- Hybrid work schedule (subject to change).
- 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching with 9% Employee Contribution.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration required
- Registration in California preferred
- Minimum of 8-12 years of professional land development experience in the design of life sciences commercial office higher education mixed-use residential healthcare municipal and/or Federal projects including:
- Managing multiple concurrent projects
- Leading design team efforts
- Successfully managing project budgets and schedules
- Interfacing with a multi-discipline design team
- Mentoring junior staff
- Client management
- Technical experience with hydrologic and hydraulic calculations technical studies mapping documents preparation and processing of civil construction documents and earthwork calculations
- Stormwater experience in San Diego County preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Specification preparation experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to foster long term client relationships
- Excellent time management skills
- San Diego experience and relationships a plus
Expected Salary Range $100000.00 to $140000.00.
