Job Description

The Certified Nursing Assistant in Training is designed to be a temporary position while the employee goes through the KVH Nursing Assistant-Certified Program.  The program prepares students to qualify for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program Examination (NNAAP) in preparation to work as a professional nursing assistant in Washington State. 

The KVH Nursing Assistant-Certified Program is a 6-week paid training program with the majority of the work and learning happening on-site under the guidance of a preceptor.  This position will rotate through all inpatient units at the hospital including but not limited to; Medical/surgical critical care emergency services family birthing and surgical outpatient.


Qualifications :

What is required...

  • High School Diploma or equivalent


Additional Information :

Wage:  $17.12/hour

FTE:  .8 32 hours/week

Benefits:  This position is not benefits eligible 

This is a temporary position and is not expected to last more than 90 days.
