Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manufacture quality blow molding machinery auxiliary equipment and sub-assemblies using various tools and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA MIOSHA and Company safety standards.
- Build and manufacture items according to drawings and bills of material meeting established production quality and quantity standards.
- Perform maintenance and repair of building equipment as assigned including preventative maintenance.
- Operate power equipment and material handling equipment (e.g. forklifts cranes).
- Collaborate with supervisors engineering and production personnel to resolve manufacturing problems and report material shortages.
- Develop specifications from general descriptions and create sketches of parts or products to be manufactured.
- Submit daily time accounting payroll information and other required paperwork.
- Assist with employee training and support other departments as needed.
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in wiring sub-assemblies cabinets and machine assemblies using routings drawings and bill of materials.
- Ability to read and apply electrical schematics documenting changes as needed.
- Experience with layout and prototype of electrical components wireways and conduit.
- Knowledge of electrical fittings fasteners hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Familiarity with mainframe computers and ability to work with metric and standard inch systems.
- Skills in machine startup checkout and troubleshooting.
- Must possess personal hand tools for effective task performance.
