Liver Kidney and Pancreas Pediatric Transplant Surgeon
The Division of Transplant Surgery in the Department of Surgery at the University of Colorado School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Board eligible fellowship-trained transplant surgeon with expertise in both pediatric and adult liver kidney and pancreas transplantation. The majority of this role is dedicated to pediatric abdominal solid organ transplantation. Robotic experience in renal and liver procedures preferred. This is a one-year appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. Primary responsibilities will be at the University of Colorado School of Medicine as well as nearby Childrens Hospital Colorado and University of Colorado Hospital.
Duties of this faculty position will include participation in both pediatric and adult kidney liver and pancreas transplantation robotic and living donor transplant procedures along with other major liver surgeries as well as organ recovery and dialysis access surgery. Other activities of the transplant surgeon include clinical care immunosuppression management surgical rounds transplant selection committees and educational conferences. This individual will also be expected to actively participate in clinical research activities related to transplantation on an ongoing basis. The Assistant / Associate Professor role will also help in academic activities including teaching medical students residents fellows and related service duties and call coverage. Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate.

The surgeon reports to the Division Chief.
Supervision Exercised:
The surgeon will provide direct clinical instruction to Advanced Practice Professionals fellows residents and nurses.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Assistant Professor - $plus productivity incentives when eligible.
Associate Professor - $350000- $450000 plus productivity incentives when eligible.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
