What youll do
Operate and help improve IT & InfoSec solutions that deliver secure seamless experiences for people internally and externally -- using our products 24/7 around the world. Were looking for an experienced Cloud/DevOps Network Engineer with expertise in cloud management automation/coding and network administration to help with the build and operation of the corporate infrastructure. This person will collaborate closely with a team of highly skilled engineers to keep the services that our whole Docusign team depends on to get their work done safe and reliable. This involves being highly responsive thinking critically as to the request versus policy and always having a customer service perspective.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager Network Engineering and Collaboration Platform.
Responsibility
Design implement and maintain Docusigns enterprise network infrastructure with a strong emphasis on workplace technology security and automation
Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network issues
Exhibit a customer-centric approach to requests and responses collaborate with other members for practical and scalable solutions to problems
Engage in on-call support with rotation schedule with other team members
Automate where possible implement and improve processes where necessary
Design and provide operational and infrastructural requirements that promote uptime speed and security on a global scale
Job Designation
Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
- Exerperience with networking principles
- Experience with AWS/ Azure a scripting proficiency in Python and expertise in cybersecurity best practices particularly with Palo Alto Networks and Zscaler security solutions
- Knowledge of routed and routing protocols (STP IP BGP OSPF EIGRP etc)
- Knowledge of enterprise wired and wireless solutions (Cisco switching and routing Juniper Mist WLAN Palo Alto Networks Zscalar)
- Experience with network security scalability observability and application delivery
- Experience with a major cloud provider
- 5 years of experience with systems or software engineering operating systems networking concepts and security
- 2 years of experience with one of the programming/scripting languages such as Python Go
- Experience using configuration management tools at scale such as Ansible or Puppet
- Experience with building digital experience for improving infrastructure reliability
- Bachelors in computer science or relevant experience
Preferred
- Equally adept at software development network engineering and operations
- Experience with AWS
- Masters degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
- Advanced knowledge of system administration Linux TCP/IP
- Self starter with ability to effectively prioritize and execute projects without much direction/supervision
- Network and security professional level certifications (CCNP JNCIP PCNSE)
Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience.
Based on applicable legislation the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
California: $114200.00 - $177100.00 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
- Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
