The Karsh Institute of Democracy seeks a part-time hourly wage undergraduate programming intern to support student-facing programming and event opportunities including Democracy360 and the Civic Cornerstone Fellowship. Responsibilities include actively contributing to student outreach strategy helping coordinate program-related activities providing support at in-person events and supporting the writing of student-facing program materials along with other programming-related tasks as needed.
The Karsh Institute of Democracy is a pan-university institute that brings people together to generate ideas and solutions that build a better democracy for all. Through innovative programs research and partnerships we help amplify and deepen democracy-focused work across Grounds and bring it out into the world.
Anticipated Assignment Dates: August 25 2025 May 17 2026
Position Type: Part-time hourly wage between 10 to 15 hours per week
Desired Class Level(s): Rising Second Year Rising Third Year Rising Fourth Year
Position Compensation: $20.00 per hour

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs.
