You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailA Dev Ops Engineer will take the lead in designing developing deploying and maintaining new and existing tooling/automation solutions to enable IFS to further drive the reliability and efficiency of its operation platforms.
A Dev Ops Engineer at IFS is a driver of further automation in the area in which the person is working and ensures the continued robustness of the teams daily operations. This work is focused on ensuring that continuous integration testing and deployment are facilitated using industry Dev Ops best practices and tools.
A Dev Ops Engineer leverages their technical expertise to support the entire IFS organization in developing services that can always be deployed and tested with a high degree of automation. They demonstrate a strong commitment to the service and process quality taking proactive steps to prevent issues and resolving them quickly and effectively when they do arise.
A Dev Ops Engineer at IFS continually enhances their understanding of processes and technical domains leveraging this expertise to guide and support others.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications :
Recommended 2 years of relevant experience
BA/BS required Technical Diploma in Computer Science MIS or IT or a related field preferred.
Able to work / be available a couple hours a day that overlap with US Business Hours is a must.
Additional Information :
Mandatory Skills
CI/CD Tools
Hands-on experience with Bitbucket Pipelines and Azure DevOps including Pipelines Repos and Artifacts.
Familiarity with ClickOnce for streamlined Windows application deployment.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Strong proficiency in Terraform (primary tool for infrastructure provisioning).
Working knowledge of Ansible for configuration management and automation.
Containerization & Orchestration
Experience with Docker for container-based development and deployment.
Kubernetes is a plus for orchestration of containerized applications.
Scripting & Automation
Proficient in automation and scripting using YAML Bash PowerShell and Python.
Cloud Infrastructure
Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services including compute networking and storage components.
Operating Systems
Comfortable working in both Linux/Unix and Windows environments.
Application Security
Experience with Veracode or similar application security tools for code scanning and vulnerability management.
Communication & Collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on documentation and cross-functional collaboration.
System Design & Architecture
Proven ability to design visualize and implement scalable secure and highly available infrastructure solutions.
Good-to-Have Skills
Testing Tools & Frameworks
Familiarity with testing tools and behavior-driven development frameworks such as:
Selenium
SpecFlow / Reqnroll
NUnit
Gherkin
Understanding of CI-integrated testing strategies
Monitoring & Observability
Experience with Azure Monitor and Azure Application Insights for proactive monitoring diagnostics and performance analysis.
AI & Automation Integration
Exposure to leveraging AI in DevOps workflows including:
AI-assisted static analysis and code review tools
GitHub Copilot or equivalent tools for development acceleration
AI-based test generation
Automation of infrastructure tasks and support for intelligent incident response systems
